Help with JavaScript and Pop-ups

Why does it matter what browser I use?
The Abstract Management System (AMS) is a web application that takes advantage of the interactive features of JavaScript and popup windows to provide a number of time-saving functions for its users. Over 95% of the browsers currently in use are capable of taking advantage of JavaScript and popup windows.

How do I disable Pop-up Blocker only for the ISPN AMS
In the current version of Internet Explorer, follow the menu selection: Tools => Pop-up Blocker => Pop-up Blocker Settings. In the box under “Address of Website to Allow” enter “*.common3.proaxs.net” (without the quotes). Next, press the Add button and then the Close button. This will insure that your Pop-up Blocker will be disabled for the ISPN AMS website, but will continue to work for all other disallowed sites.

What is JavaScript and why do I need it?
JavaScript is a programming language that is included in most current browsers and that runs on your computer. JavaScript is required because many of the pages that the AMS application displays are not static, but pages that you can interact with. JavaScript is partly responsible for this interactivity.

How do I enable JavaScript
There are a number of browsers currently in use today. Each has its own set of menu commands that allow the user to enable or disable JavaScript. However, Internet Explorer is by far the most popular. It accounts for approximately 85% of all browser traffic on the Internet. To enable JavaScript for browsers other than Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera, click that browser’s Help selection from the browser’s menu. Then, search for instructions on how to “enable JavaScript”. For the Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera browsers, follow the individual instructions below.
